As some of you may know we are a little giddy about the Oscars tomorrow. It's Hollywood's biggest night of the year and we wanted to make it just as exciting for all of you watching at home. We're dressing up, opening some wine and cooking the same food the stars are eating so join us at our party. Here are just a few of the exciting things going on:

Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Adam Brody

Posted By Fashion on Feb 27, 2007 at 12:56PM

And continuing on with the boys, here is one of my faves, Adam Brody. I think he looks quite dapper in his suit, vest and loose tie, but I am not digging the facial hair. What do you think?

Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Prince

Posted By Fashion on Feb 27, 2007 at 12:25PM

We have been so focused on the lovely ladies of the Red Carpet and the Vanity Fair After Party, but you didn't think we would forget about the guys did you? First up, Prince of course! He is looking as Prince-like as ever in his funky yellow suit. I love it. What do you think?

Dazzling Diamonds, Part I: Cate Blanchett

Posted By Fashion on Feb 27, 2007 at 12:21PM

Not only was Cate's gunmetal Armani Prive gown exquisite, I could not take my eyes off of her unique, moody jewelry. Cate wore diamonds by Lorraine Schwartz. Her earrings were blackened platinum diamond earrings with black pearshape diamond drops and were $75,000. Her bad ass cuff was a platinum and rosecut diamond black and green jade bracelet worth $200,000. Holy sh*@t! Well, they did add that extra sparkle...

Oscars Red Carpet Beauty: Barely There Makeup

Posted By Beauty on Feb 27, 2007 at 11:15AM

These ladies know how to let their talent and inner beauty speak volumes. Instead of hiding behind a face full of overdone makeup, they chose to play up one feature for a polished and understated look. I think this is a lovely and refreshing change on the red carpet.

Do you prefer a more glamorous and dramatic face, or do you like this almost au natural look that confident stars such as:Jada Pinkett Smith, Cameron Diaz, Emily Blunt, Kirsten Dunst, Celine Dion and Jessica Biel opted for?

Oscars After Parties: Best Dressed

Posted By Fashion on Feb 27, 2007 at 11:06AM

What an interesting batch of best dressed ladies! I am really proud of Buffy, er, Sarah Michelle Gellar, (sorry old habits die hard), to be considered best dressed with such fashion icons as Madonna and Liv Tyler. Although I have to say, overall, no one took any major risks here. We're sort of back to the gorgeous, but already been done before, Grecian trend. Oh well, they all look beautiful and ready to party. Who was your favorite?

Oscars Red Carpet Beauty: How to Get Anne Hathaway's Hair

Posted By Beauty on Feb 27, 2007 at 9:39AM

Anne Hathaway looked very pretty Sunday night at the Oscars. She sported red lips, a 14 carat diamond right hand ring and three diamond bracelets from Van Cleef & Arpels.

Although I wasn't totally in love with her Valentino black and white bow dress, overall she presented herself in a very, sophisticated, elegant and age appropriate way. Anne just has a fabulous demeanor about her that makes you appreciate any ensemble she puts together.

Hairstylist, Adir Abergel created Anne's vintage inspired side swept up-do influenced by the classic style of Audrey Hepburn and the screen siren glamour of Rita Hayworth. Her up-do had lots of volume, texture and glamorous looking free flowing pieces. To find out exactly how to create this look at home, read more

Oscars Hair Trend: Blondes On The Side

Posted By Beauty on Feb 27, 2007 at 8:12AM

Let's see how many trends we can spot in this collage. I spy red lips, blonde hair, blue eyes, thin, tall, lean bodies, long, straight hair and hair pulled to one side. Now if only Nicole Kidman had an Estee Lauder campaign I could have an even seven.

I was guilty of pulling my hair to one side like this when I was twelve years old. It made me feel older, sexier and it also made me look a little like a loser since my head was always tilted sideways. Yet these tall and gorgeous blonde glamazons pull this look off effortlessly - go figure.

Patricia Field's Special Oscar Payless Shoes

Posted By Fashion on Feb 27, 2007 at 7:02AM

So the brilliant costume designer Patricia Field didn't win the Oscar for best costume design for The Devil Wears Prada. But she will always be a winner to me - after all, she was the genius behind the Sex and the City wardrobe. Did you know she has also been styling the Payless ads? For Sunday's red carpet, she designed a special pair of Payless shoes that will be sold in stores for Holiday 2007. They will be a part of the "Red Carpet Collection by Patricia Field" so expect fun, party shoes just in time for the holidays! Here she is on on the red carpet in her creation and her signature crimson red hair.

Oscars Trend: Emeralds

Posted By Fashion on Feb 27, 2007 at 5:02AM

While green was a bold move on the red carpet, it made a cameo in jewelry all through the night. For a lot of people, Cameron's exotic drop earrings were the best part of her red carpet look. And check out that emerald beauty on Posh's dainty finger! As for Naomi - green overkill if you ask me.
