As some of you may know we are a little giddy about the Oscars tomorrow. It's Hollywood's biggest night of the year and we wanted to make it just as exciting for all of you watching at home. We're dressing up, opening some wine and cooking the same food the stars are eating so join us at our party. Here are just a few of the exciting things going on:
FabSugar will be doing live red carpet love it or hate it polls.
BuzzSugar will be live blogging the show and asking you if you agree with the winners.
PopSugar will be asking you about your favorite performances and if you think Ellen's opening is a hit.
All Sugar ladies will be in the live chat talking about our favorite celebs, the red carpet arrivals, the show!
With our first year of Oscars madness under our belt, we couldn't help but recognize some tech savvy divas who took part in the festivities. Kimora Simmons was having a great time snapping some pictures with her super teeny digital camera at the Queen Latifah and Vibe Magazine Hollywood Pre-Oscar party. Meanwhile, Serena Williams was on the other side of the room shaking it up with friends while staying connected with her chic white Sidekick, which I'm still trying to figure out where she purchased.
Just in case you missed the 2007 Oscars or the endless coverage on BuzzSugar, I've designed a point-by-point recap that will let you relive this year's Oscar excitement in one handy post. Here's everything you need to know about everything that went down.
It has been a whirlwind of Oscars mania over here! We hope you enjoyed all our Oscars coverage, and there's still more to come. So stay tuned! In the meantime, here's a round up so you don't miss a thing.
Ali Larter looks hot! She is keeping with the strapless, bare neck themes of the evening and pulling it off flawlessly. Her bracelets are amazing and so are her shoes! I also think that the minimal makeup look is working for her. Her skin is glowing! What do you think?
For those lucky enough to win, The Oscar party continued at the Kodak Theater Governor's Ball after the show. They compared the sizes of their little gold men and basked in the general glow of each other. We don't blame them, so many of last night's winners waited for decades to get the recognition they deserve. Not just Martin Scorsese but Alan Arkin and Forest Whitaker as well. In case you missed it, here's a complete list of winners. As for the Sugar Network contest, we would like to congratulate the top winners of our ballot contest. The Grand Prize Prada Bag Winner is.... LegallyBlonder with 20 out of 24 correct!!!! Other runners up are Alliebelle and Witchy Ways with 19 and slashyelizabeth with 18 correct. They will enjoy some sweet cash to our favorite stores, Neiman Marcus, Apple and Sephora. Congrats to all and thanks for playing.
I spy with my little eye...the same lovely mint green jewels on Armani wearing Katie Holmes and Beyonce. While I'm not in love with either of their gowns, I do love this adornment. I can't decide where I like it better: on the bodice of Beyonce or the bouffant of Katie. Who wore it better?
Amy Smart looks fabulous from the neck down in this slim fitting sapphire blue dress, but what is happening above the neck? She forgot to wear makeup and her hair is flat and lifeless. But maybe I have just done too many of these polls today and am starting to get a little jaded? What do you think?
None of these fabulous people took home an Oscar but who cares? They're all good in our book, especially when they team up with someone equally as fabulous and then they qualify for our Cutest Oscar poll. So forget acting or singing - how about the equally hard task of just standing around and looking adorable with a significant other, BFF, kid, or all of the above? Who do you think was the cutest coupling on the red carpet last night?
