I love this eggplant dress that Diane Kruger is wearing to the Vanity Fair After Party. The color goes perfectly with her skin and hair. Her hair and makeup are fabulous as well. What do you think?
She's pretty, the gown is pretty...so what's not working? I think the hair and the sleeves and the tiers and the drop earrings...it all gives a sense of this poor thing being completely
overwhelmed by the force of gravity.
I still think we need a "Like it, don't love it" category for dresses like this. I love the color and most of the dress. I just wish it was strapless instead of that weird see-through material.
And she always has this vacant expression on her face, like some designer decided she looked good in his clothes and so they stuck her in a gown and sent her out the door without her actually
being aware of what was happening.
